How we grow our coffee?
It is said coffee absorbs the character of the place in which it is grown. And, for more than a century, it has been our quest to convey that character to every cup brewed from our beans. Over the course of 130 years, we have changed our production methods only to achieve better quality. Our coffee plants continue to grow under the shade of the
gravillia trees nestled between the volcanoes that created the perfect soil conditions for fine coffee.

 Years ago, Mr. Dalton’s friends from the U.S. and around the world would
ask for coffee from our estates. We would ask a neighbor to roast it in one or two pound batches whenever visitors came to Guatemala. We have more friends now, and recently installed a roaster at the Filadelfia estate with state-of-the-art packaging facilities.
Our roasted product line includes coffee from the established part of our Filadelfia Estate, as well as from a higher elevation section we’re calling Filadelfia Mountain. We also have a blend of our 5 other Estates.
